You'll put your eye out! And other Ashton Adventures. . .

Apparently Ty is the only child excited with the 5 hour drive up to Idaho.

The kids were constantly outside playing in the snow on snowmobiles or riding behind on a big utility sled.

"I wonder what the chemical composition of ice is."

"On Guard, kids!"

"Dad, we can take you any day of the week!"

One of those killer icicles Ralphy's mom warned us about.

The better to lick you with my dear!

Dixon Super Bowl - The Devils win!

Santa brought these adorable uniforms for the boys to play football with. For months they've played football on Monday nights with Dad in old grubbies and Rosalie's clean clothes stuffed into their shoulders under their shirts for padding. Rosalie and I cheer until Rashad gets to sassy and mom has to tackle him.

They love to play and rough house with each other in their football get up and even exclaim things like "Mom, we need to go to football practice today, we almost forgot!" Football practice is apparently dressing up in their outfits and roughing each other up with a nerf football in toe.

They performed yesterday for the half-time show while the rest of us enjoyed snacking on BBQ lil smokies, butter crescent roll lil smokies, buffalo wings, celery/carrots, shrimp and cocktail sauce and finally chocolate fondue with strawberries, pineapple, bananas, three different kinds of marshmallows, canned cherries, and pretzels.

Roller Skating

Did you see that boy Marissa? He is so cute! I wonder if he'll snowball with me!

They didn't allow scooters when I was young. . .

Daddy, by this time has stopped cracking up at how silly and scared Ty looks.

Teresa is growing up too fast!

Not everyone's Dad can be as cool as Rashad, Ty and Rose's Dad.
